Job Description:
Golden Bear Packaging Inc., a leader in innovative and
sustainable packaging solutions, is seeking an experienced Senior
Mechanic to join our Engineering and Maintenance team. This role is
crucial in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our
production equipment, which is vital for meeting our commitment to
quality and sustainability. In this position, you will be
responsible for overseeing the upkeep, diagnostic, and repair
processes of various mechanical systems and machinery used in the
packaging production line. As a Senior Mechanic, you'll collaborate
with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiencies and
contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing
processes. Perform advanced mechanical overhauls and maintenance on
manufacturing equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Lead diagnostic
and troubleshooting processes to mitigate disruptions and improve
machinery performance. Develop maintenance strategies and schedule
regular inspections and maintenance activities to extend the
lifespan and efficiency of mechanical systems. Collaborate with
engineering and production teams to implement system enhancements
and new technological solutions. Train and guide junior mechanics
and technicians, promoting a culture of safety and continuous
learning. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and
environmental policies within the workplace. Advanced knowledge of
mechanical systems and their components in a manufacturing setting.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
Strong leadership and training skills. Effective communication and
collaboration skills. Proficient in using maintenance management
systems. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified
Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) preferred. Relevant
machinery or equipment manufacturer certifications a plus.
