Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/09/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cath Lab RN – Michigan Start Date: February 9, 2026 Location: Michigan Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 10 days of call per month (includes IR/Vascular and STEMI coverage) Highlights: Comprehensive cardiovascular role including angiography, cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and electrophysiology procedures Diverse procedural experience: stress echocardiograms, TEE, cardioversions, PICC line insertion, and pacemaker interrogations Hands-on role with scrubbing in for procedures and operating advanced cardiac equipment including hemodynamic monitors, intraaortic balloon pumps, and ICDs Epic EMR system preferred Contract travel assignment with competitive compensation Opportunity to function as a vascular access expert and contribute to patient education programs Requirements: Active Michigan RN License (compact states accepted; must be active prior to start) Cath Lab RN experience required 1 years of Electrophysiology experience required Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills preferred Interventional Radiology experience and knowledge of intraaortic balloon pump operation preferred Skills checklist (current within 1 year) and 2 supervisory reference forms (within last two years) required at submission Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility All scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers exposure to a full spectrum of cardiovascular nursing, from pre-procedure assessment through recovery, in a dynamic environment where you'll work alongside physicians and a multidisciplinary team.
