Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in both facility-based and home-based patient care, is looking for a Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing staff and ensure that the highest quality of care is delivered to our patients. In this role, you will manage the nursing team at our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals, coordinating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Our Nurse Supervisors play a critical role in fostering a compassionate environment while maintaining operational efficiency and adherence to compliance regulations. Supervise and evaluate the nursing staff across multiple units. Develop and enforce detailed care plans along with other healthcare team members. Manage patient care with the utmost professionalism and compliance with healthcare regulations. Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and training of new nurses. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure collaboration across all care disciplines. Monitor and continuously improve patient satisfaction and safety measures. Enforce adherence to healthcare laws and policies. Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in clinical and patient care protocols Ability to manage a diverse team and multiple tasks simultaneously Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
